Established for over 60 years, Ledson Motor Factors was founded in 1949 by Tom Ledson at premises across the road from the world famous Wigan Pier.
Ledson's are a part of Wigan's recent heritage, and is still a local, family owned business, overseen by Gordon Ledson, Thomas Ledson, and Paul Ledson. With Paul Junior, Chris Berry and Wayne Ledson, learning their trade and looking to step into the family footsteps and continue the family tradition.
Over the years Ledson have built up a strong relationship with many of the town's local garages and car dealers and has become a major supplier of car parts. Today many local automotive businesses rely on Ledson for daily deliveries of Car Exhausts, Car Brakes and Car Clutches, ordered and delivered within a matter of hours.
Not surprisingly over sixty years Ledson has built up a great affinity
with local
motorists. The retail shop and stores, now
situated at Great George Street,
about a mile away from the original store site is affectionately known as Leddys! There
